Race to Renaissance is a season-long competitive golf series, designed to give passionate amateur golfers the experience of playing on tour. Spanning multiple tournaments across the year, members compete, earn points, and follow their progress throughout the season — bringing structure, excitement, and a true professional atmosphere to amateur golf.

How it works

8 championship rounds of golf from March to September 2026 across the Midlands most prestigious courses

Each players best 5 scores out of the 8 rounds to count towards their standings in the league and chance of Grand Final qualification

Top 20 players in the standings qualify for the Grand Final at The Renaissance Club

£500 membership fee + competitively priced green fees for each event

Rules & Conditions

  • Every member must have an official and up to date England Golf handicap

  • The maximum playing handicap will be 18 (meaning players with a handicap of higher than 18 will have to play with 18 shots only)

  • Full tournament rules in place

  • Stableford scoring system
